A new improver, Snorre Thomassen

In 2014, Snorre began his journey with Rapp, where the focus was on winches within ROV winch systems, fisheries, and research. With a solid foundation and a passion for technology, Snorre embraced the challenge of ensuring these systems operated optimally.

Since 2016, Snorre's career has taken a global turn,primarily focusing on startups and follow-ups of research vessels in China and other parts of East Asia and Oceania.

Gradually advancing from Service Technician to Senior Service Technician, and finally to Site Supervisor. Snorre’s different roles demonstrates ability to manage challenges, cooperations and lead teams.

With expertise in electrical and software/control systems (automation), as well as a solid understanding of hydraulics and mechanics he has been able to solve problems when he is out all over the world doing service jobs.

We are delighted to announce that Snorre has now joined us at Evotec. At Evotec, we seamlessly unite our in-house expertise across sales, design, engineering, assembly, and testing. Snorre's arrival will further strengthen our team and our ability to serve clients worldwide.

Even after leaving MacGregor, Snorre continues to be a reliable resource and a central figure in the industry. With an impressive ourney and an exciting future ahead, he is a living example of how dedication,expertise, and entrepreneurship can lead to success in the maritime world.
