Evotec selected as supplier of complete deck handling system for 3 new research vessels

August 10, 2024

Three different international Ocean Research companies have recently selected Evotec, a part of Entec group, as their provider of complete deck handling system. The vessels will be built at different shipyards in Asia and in Europe.

Vessel type varies from Oceanographic Research to Fishery Research and comprises Evotec`s full range of winches, cranes, booms, drives, control/automation systems, as well as commissioning/start-up and service throughout the vessels lifetime.

Evotec`s reputation of supplying world class handling solutions combined with our experience of developing effective back deck logistics, results in a unique compact solution to free up deck space and reduce weight.

“This, in addition to the flexibility Evotec has shown during the project phase, has been key for the vessel owners to select us as supplier for these projects”, says VP Sales Torkjell Ringstad.

Deliveries are expected to be from end of 2024 to summer of 2025.
