Green Yard Kleven has awarded Evotec a contract to supply a complete moonpool-based LARS system for new building 404. The vessel will be outfitted at Green Yard Kleven’s facilities in Ulsteinvik from spring 2026, with delivery to the shipowner in autumn 2026.
The scope of supply includes a complete ROV handling solution for subsea operations, comprising winches, cursor system, latch beam and moonpool hatch. The system will also feature Evotec’s proprietary SRPM technology, designed to improve operational efficiency while reducing energy consumption.
Outfitting in Ulsteinvik
The hull is currently under construction at the Montex shipyard in Poland and will arrive in Ulsteinvik for outfitting and final completion. Equipment delivery is scheduled for August 2026.
“Evotec was selected due to their strong engagement, solution-driven mindset and consistently high product quality,” says Asbjørn Vattøy, Project Manager at Green Yard Kleven.
“The project was a strong fit for Evotec’s compact solutions. The key challenge was integrating a fully functional system within the limited space of a vessel already under construction. Through close collaboration and targeted design adjustments, we delivered a solution that both Green Yard Kleven and the shipowner are very satisfied with. I would like to thank Green Yard Kleven for their trust in Evotec as system supplier,” says Geir Henning Kalvatn, Sales Manager Offshore & Wind at Evotec.
Continued project momentum
“This contract underlines the relevance of our FlexiLARS solutions in today’s market. Working closely with Green Yard Kleven demonstrates how early dialogue and strong engineering expertise result in robust, energy-efficient systems tailored for demanding offshore operations,” says Jogeir Romestrand, CEO of Evotec.
