Particular focus has been on utilizing all the energy produced onboard, and the choice fell on Evotec, since the boat features electric deck equipment and winches.

The newLeinebris will also be the first vessel to combine long lining, seine netting, and gill netting. This will provide flexibility to use the tool that has theleast climate impact.

The newbuilding is planned to be ready for fishing in about two years. The boat is designed by Skipsteknisk and will be built at Tersan Shipyard.
