Viking Supply Ships is upgrading three vessels, and once again, the choice fell on Evotec equipment. The delivery includes advanced ROV handling equipment for subsea operations on three of Viking’s ships. The delivery features Evotec’s unique SRPM technology, which is highly efficient and reduces energy consumption.

The requirement was for an upgraded system that could be integrated into existing vessels. A specially designed L-LARS system, combined with the efficient and unique Evotec EWDS winch solution, addresses Viking Supply Ships’ challenges regarding space and weight. The equipment is scheduled for delivery from December 2025 to March 2026.

For deliveries in 2025 and 2026, Evotec has agreements for several new LARS systems, with more currently under negotiation. CEO Jogeir Romestrand is pleased with the progress.
